Outdoor cooling misting systems work by forcing water through a specialized nozzle that produces ultra-fine water droplets. These water droplets mix into the air your surrounding target areas that require cooling. Heat is absorbed by the moisture as it changes from liquid to vapor during the evaporation process which creates a cooling effect. Properly installed outdoor misting systems create a curtain of mist around all open-air sides of a structure. This type of cooling can reduce area temperatures by as much as 15°F depending on the efficiency of the misting system, relative humidity, and outdoor temperature.
